COMEDIAN, WRITER Born in Hampstead, England in 1957.
Outstandingly
talented Stephen Fry is something of an all rounder, a
novelist, devisor of stage musicals (he brought Me and My
Girl back to the West End) as well as his acting and comedic
duties. Was part of the Cambridge Footlights and his early
TV career was spent in collaboration with Hugh Laurie.
Fry appeared
on University Challenge whilst at Cambridge and is a former
Pipe Smoker of the Year. In 2003 directed the big
screen movie Bright Young Things and also voices the UK
audio book versions of the Harry Potter novels. |
