Nick Fisher is one of the UK’s most
sought-after and successful writers. A versatile series creator
and scriptwriter, his work spans drama, comedy, children’s and
entertainment television formats. A BAFTA Award winner, he’s a
produced feature film writer and has presented and devised
factual entertainment programmes for both television and radio.
A journalist and presenter for over 20 years, Nick has also
acted as consultant on major network TV series and has written
several books.
Nick created and wrote the hugely popular comedy drama Manchild
about four middle-aged men growing old disgracefully for the
BBC, where it ran for two series, 2002-2003. Following the
success of the series in the UK, Nick was commissioned to
develop the series for international broadcasters. In addition
Nick's television work includes writing for the BBC drama Hustle
and creating the BAFTA award winning The Giblet Boy's for ITV.
Within the film industry Nick has created the screenplay for the
Columbia Tristar film Virtual Sexuality as well as writing Nine
Lives, French Exchange and the film story of The Rolling Stones'
drug bust Butterfly On A Wheel.
