Paul began his career as a Director and Producer
in the 1970’s on Masterspy and Come Back Lucy, winning a BAFTA
nomination.
He then went on to work on Turtles Progress in the 1980’s as
well as Your Mother Wouldn’t Like It which went on to win a
BAFTA award in 1982.
Since starting his career Paul has gone on to direct comedies
May To December and a Kind of Living. In the nineties Paul
directed the mini-series Grafters as well as taking time to
direct series 1 – 3 of the BBC drama Ballykissangel, winner of
the 1997 RTS award for Best Drama.
Paul’s other television credits include: A Touch of Frost,
Monarch of The Glen, Wycliffe, Lovejoy and the original Diamond
Geezer.
