ACTOR 

Born in Liverpool , England , BAFTA-nominated actor David Morrissey graduated from RADA and took on a number of challenging stage roles for both the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre before becoming a recognized talent in a host of powerful and award-winning television dramas including State of Play and Viva Blackpool.  His portrayal of British Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown in Stephen Frears’ The Deal (written by The Queen’s Peter Morgan) earned him a Royal Television Society award.  Notable feature film credits include The Other Boleyn Girl with Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johannson, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin opposite Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz, Derailed with Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen, Basic Instinct 2 with Sharon Stone, The Reaping with Hilary Swank, Hilary & Jackie; Some Voices; Born Romantic and Stoned.
